Printing is the hub of our business. Whether lithographic, digital or large format, long or short run, spot or full colour, we have a solution to meet every need. We have our own in-house, closed loop colour management system using the ISO 12647 standard. This allows us to accurately measure the proofs, plates and printed sheets using the latest technology. Information is constantly fed back into the pre-press workflow and calibrated adjustments made to ensure colour consistency. The introduction of this technology has been managed by Heidelberg who have certified that we meet the standard required by ISO 12467 – 2/7.

Within our design studio, our experienced team can design, manage and produce any catalogue, newsletter, magazine or brochure. We can supply a bespoke product or work to existing corporate brand guidelines. The Printing House is at the forefront of Variable Data Printing. This new media enables any item to be individually tailored by allowing, for example, a different name on each mailer or changing the image on every brochure. We understand the value of corporate branding and work closely with companies to take in all the necessary information. When working with Spanset UK we initiated research into the business, the industry as a whole and the intended target audience, taking into account age, gender and socio-economic factors to produce inspirational designs and an award winning annual report for their marketing needs.

Our studio is constantly changing in line with technological advances, the latest software and state of the art PDF workflow linked to a Computer to Plate (CTP) system which ensures a fast and accurate turnaround in today’s deadline driven market. CTP technology allows for quicker, more accurate production cycles with lower production costs and sharper print quality. We welcome artwork in all manner of file formats from Quark to Microsoft Office products and are Adobe and Microsoft partners .Sending files to The Printing House has been simplified using our on-line FTP service, backed up by an efficient disk collection or postal service, enabling us to work with customers throughout the UK.

Offset printing has remained the industry standard printing process due to its advantages in quality, efficiency and high volume runs. All of our offset presses can be used for producing company stationery, promotional literature, magazines, newsletters, catalogues and price lists. Our digital presses provide a cost effective solution to short run orders. With the latest technology we can introduce personalised marketing solutions using our XM Pre Software. This enables us to produce high quality stationery, mailers, posters or bespoke brochures with added value.

Print Finishing is a vital last stage in the production of professional work. We have the skills, equipment and desire for quality to provide all products with the perfect finish. Precision trimming, folding, binding, lamination or special effects can be applied in-line to our printing process. Guillotines, folders and stitch trimmers are available for every process and our equipment is regularly cleaned, maintained and serviced.
